The hydraulic jacks work in accordance with the hydraulic principle. They are composed of two cylinders: one cylinder contains a piston that is moved up and down by fluid pressure; another contains a screw that is moved up and down by this same fluid pressure. When fluid pressure moves upward within one cylinder, it pushes on the end of its piston rod, causing the other cylinder’s screw to move downward because of the connecting rod attached between them.
The steel hydraulic block assembly includes dust seals to prevent oil from leaking out of the cylinders when they are not in use, as well as prevent dust from getting into them when they are being used.
