This product is a timer that will periodically turn ON and OFF your 3 Phase Submersible pump based on the timings adjusted by the user. The ON time or the running time is the total time for which the motor is supposed to turn ON in a cycle. The OFF time or the waiting time is the total time for which the motor should wait. The OFF time is also the recharge time if the water level in the borewell is low. The task of the cyclic timer is to turn ON the motor for the set ON duration and keep the motor in the OFF state for the set OFF time. After the set OFF time is up, the motor will again be switched to the ON cycle and so on. The advantage of having the cyclic timer and PFR is that the motor is allowed to run only if the 3 Phase supply is present.

Connections:

• Connect R,Y and B connectors to incoming 3 Phase power supply
• Connect C1 and C2 across (in parallel to) the ON/Start Push button of your motor starter
• Connect C3 and C4 in series to the OFF/Stop Push button of your motor starter Observe the light on the PFR, if the light is blinking or absent, interchange the R and Y lines (Connectors 1 and 2)

Operation:

• The timer display powers up as soon the power supply is ON. The timer displays the set ON time and OFF time for set power ON Delay during power ON. The ON time and OFF times are displayed in all 5 digits. The first 3 digits from the left hand side (red color) will be Minutes in MM:SS model and Hours in HH:MM model respectively. The fourth and fifth digits from the left hand side (green color) will be seconds in MM:SS model and minutes in HH:MM model respectively.The timer will resume its operation from where it had previously stopped. The blinking of the LED determines the current cycle the timer is in. If the led blinks in the fifth digit, that means the timer is currently in ON cycle and if the led blinks in the third digit, the timer will be in OFF cycle respectively. The numbers against the blinking digit indicates the elapsed time. For the whole time, the timer is in a particular cycle, the other cycle will display the set time. The timer hence shuffles between the ON and OFF cycles one after the other.

Settings:

Setting ON time:

• Press the button on the right hand side
• You will notice the numbers increasing
• Keep pressing if you want to increase the ON time
• If you want to decrease the ON time, release the button on the right and immediately press the button on the left
• Arrive at the required time
• Wait for the blink of all the digits for saving the set times

Setting OFF time:

• Press the button on the left hand side
• You will notice the numbers increasing
• Keep pressing if you want to increase the OFF time
• If you want to decrease the OFF time, release the button on the left and immediately press the button on the right
• Arrive at the required time
• Wait for the blink of all the digits for saving the set times
• To verify of the desired times are set, power OFF the timer and power it back ON and notice the saved time one after the other for the whale power ON delay time.

To set Power ON Delay:

• Switch OFF the timer
• Press and hold both the buttons
• Turn ON the power supply
• Release the buttons as soon as you see Cycl
• Press any key till you see POD
• Now set the desired power ON delay. POD will be in MMM:SS format.
• After arriving at the desired number, wait till you see “END”
• You can power OFF the timer and turn it back ON to verify the POD.

Warranty:

• This product carries a warranty of 6 months from the date of purchase. Any issues within the warranty period will be attended to free of cost at our works in Bangalore. Post the warranty period, the product will be eligible for the paid service at our works. The invoice copy acts as a warranty card. The shipping of the product for repair will have to be done by the consumer.
